Kindra is a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from McGill University. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families who are living with serious illness or grieving a loss. She also has a special interest in supporting health care professionals who work in environments where grief and loss are ever-present.
In her practice, Kindra takes a meaning-oriented, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed approach. She walks alongside individuals and families on their journeys through loss, offering compassion, presence, and guidance.
With 15 years of experience across diverse health care settings, Kindra brings a depth of knowledge that enriches her therapeutic work. She has specialized training in supporting people facing illness, traumatic events, and death. She is also trained in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), a therapeutic approach for working with attachment-based trauma and overwhelming emotional experiences.
Kindra currently practices in Ottawa, Ontario.
